Birth chart FAQ

How do I calculate my birth chart?

Enter your date, exact time and place of birth. We convert your local time to Universal Time using the historical time-zone database, then calculate the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets and the houses for that moment and place.

What if I don’t know my birth time?

You still get the Sun and planet signs. The Rising sign, Midheaven and houses can’t be calculated, and the Moon’s exact degree (sometimes its sign) is uncertain — we tell you exactly what is affected.

Is my birth data stored?

Not unless you choose to save it in an account, and we ask for your consent first. The calculator itself does not store or log your details.
